The Social Science Research and Ideological Work Department of the Ministry of Education normally launches Statistics in national colleges and universities on their Humanities & Social Science research activities every year. Colleges and universities are required to provide detailed figures of their research such as people involved, researchers, research expense, research & development projects, research achievements and merits awarded, which are finally summed up to issue an annual report and publish the Statistics Data Collection of Social Science Research in National Colleges & Universities.
