Professor Luo Guojie was born in January of 1928 in Neixiang,Henan.He Graduated from Law Dept. of Tongji University in 1949 and later accomplished the graduates courses in Philosophy Dept. of China Renmin University.

Professor Luo is now a professor and supervisor at China Renmin University. He has ever served as dean of Philosophy Dept. and deputy president of China Renmin University.His concurrent social positions include: chairman of China Ethics Academy, vice chairman of China Family Education Academy and convener of the Philosophy Appraising Group of the State Council Academic Degree Committee.

Professor Luo has worked in Ethics field for over 40 years, his academic interests involves Ethic Theory, Chinese Traditional Morals, Chinese Revolutionary Morals, Moral Education and West Ethic History. He wrote many academic works and textbooks and issued over 300 articles on his subjects, which won him numerous awards and honors. His representative works include: Maxism Ethics,Ethics Study, Chinese Traditional Moral, Chinese Revolutionary Morals, Moral Education and Luo Guojie Collections.
