A distinguished economist and educationalist of China, academic authority in Finance. Born on Feb22, 1925 in Tianjin, engaged in educational undertaking and economic research since graduating from political school, Multiversity of North China.

Professor Huang was the ex-president of RUC, delegate of the 8th NPC, member of the 1st Monetary Policy Committee of the PBC. Currently, professor Huang is honorary director of Affair Committee of RUC, convener of the Practical Economic Appraising Group of the State Council Academic Degree Committee , chief committeeman of Humanities & Social Sciences Rearch Consulting Experts Committee of China Ministry of Education, chairman of China Finance society and Vice chainmen of China Enterprises United Society .

Professor Huang have been studying and lecturing Money and Banking Science since 1950. Besides Money and Banking theories, his research involves various subjects such as Commodity Price, overall balance. Monograph of professor Huang "An Introduction to Overall Balance of Public Finance and Credit" won the Sun yefang Economic Science Works Award and the Sun yefang Economic Science Paper Award in 1986. Textbook "Money and Banking" won the first prize of the 3rd Beijing Outstanding Achievements of Philosophy and Social Science, the first prize of educational Commission Outstanding Higher-education Textbooks, and the first prize of national Teaching Achievements.

Professor Huang issued many important academic papers and books during his researching career. Most of his papers issued before 1985 were collected in Huang Da Selection 1998, which was published by Shanxi Renmin Press. His essays and papers issued from 1952 to 1998 were collected in Huang Da Collections 1999, which was published by Renmin University of China Press.
